Let’s boost your productivity: Blog Series 7 of 10

If your To-Do list throws you off, try this technique. Give a solid try for at least a week. I promise that you’ll see your stress levels go down!
Time Blocking Technique!
This powerful technique involves scheduling the items on your To-Do list in their own time blocks so that your focus is improved throughout the day. For examples, all the emails that you need to reply to, schedule a time to do that-say between 10-11:30am. All the house work you’d like to complete that would normally take you 2 hours to complete, schedule it in a time block from 12-2pm or from 6-8pm. By setting aside chunks of time for specific activities/groups of activities, you are achieving greater levels of productivity and avoiding any chancers of procrastination.

Additionally, consider that time blocking gives you a visual layout of your day and helps you structure your day in a way that appears organized as opposed to cluttered and overwhelming.
Here are a few more benefits of time blocking:
- Improved focus so you can avoid multitasking, getting distracted, sidetracked and forgetting what you were doing.
- Better time management skills are built in following this technique.
- Increased accountability when you commit to time blocking as it reduces your likelihood of procrastination.
